Way to blow another solid lead, but just like the last playoffs when we were up on Dallas, choked and eventually lost to a controversial decision in which a face mask was involved, we again blew a lead to GB for them to win off a face mask penalty which has since been deemed incorrect. I know we're crap in terms of silverware but what pees me off about the NFL is that these sorts of junk calls always seem to happen in favour of teams like Dallas, Fudge Packers, Pats etc.

We were just on a roll too since booting that spud Lombardi.

Agree with the article below - correct or not, was always getting called. Why he felt the need to put his hand there nobody will know.

Nobody to blame but themselves regardless

That's where I disagree. He didn't actually break the written rule, there was no grasp.

Quote
“No player shall grasp and control, twist, turn, push, or pull the facemask of an opponent in any direction,” Rule 12, Section 2, Article 14 states.

The rule comes with an important caveat: “If a player grasps an opponent’s facemask, he must immediately release it. If he does not immediately release it and controls his opponent, it is a foul.”

Lions defender Devin Taylor grazed the facemask of Aaron Rodgers, at best. If there was any grasping (and there wasn’t), Taylor immediately released the facemask.

We should never have been in that position to begin after being 17-0 or whatever it was at home, but it's not the first time this has happened to us. I think it was Levy? Who had his face mask pulled by the WR against Dallas in last season's wildcard round. It was more blatant than this and wasn't called, instead he was pinged for interference. Very inconsistent calling.

Edit: sorry, you said correct or not. So ignore my disagree bit  ;D still didn't break the rule at the end of the day IMO (which my opinion is subjective in this instance), regardless of where his arm was and if it should or should not have been there.

Still undefeated. Hopefully Cam didn't take too much away from the club when it comes to playoffs  :shh

Panthers undecided last I saw on whether to go for perfect season or rest players. We have a week off anyway so I say go for it.

Will win division and likely secure 1st or 2nd seed. Who cares about perfect season if you can win a SB.

The FBI are going to murder an entire NFL side? I'm surprised Bents isn't on to this...
