There’s at least one other cool connection between cities: Richmond, the quiet neighborhood that climbs a hill above the Melbourne Cricket Ground, is the namesake of San Francisco’s Richmond District. Australian entrepreneur George Turner Marsh, who was born in Melbourne’s Richmond neighborhood before moving to San Francisco, helped design the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park and is the reason why San Francisco’s “Outside Lands” was renamed to “The Richmond”.

Great day and thats because it wasnt run by the woke AFL. It was run by the NFL.

security check point near the punt road oval then you can basically do what you want. Go inside grab beers and just walk around the g and gather in groups and sink beers for as long as you like.

The atmosphere was much like the world cup. By the end people were throwing stuff off the higher levels as if it was 1988. All innocent but in the afl season you would have 20,000 people arrested.
