Knock yourself out mate. But the websites arent being designed by Telstra.

But Tesltra are still involved arent' they Mr RFC_Official?

They've still got the internet rights for the next 5 years don't they?
Yeah but WP it appears that Telstra are just hosting it and RFC have in independent web developer.

They've hired a 3rd party to build it, while still falling under the Telstra banner for the next 5 years.

As a group we had some very strict guidelines we set down in the tender process, we're pretty confident they're going to be a great fit.

Don't want to do a big richo, but what the hell can be done to a footy club's site besides a news feed, team list and a fixture?

What does that mean?  :huh

Dwaino will learn from this. He'll be a better man for it.

There is the single best piece of news I've heard in 2012.  Now, as long as the site caters for Linux as well as Macs then we can all be happy campers.  It's a big world out there RFC_O and not all of us are beholden to Big Brother.   :shh

I wasnt informed because you hadn't told me Mr RFC Official

Could swear I've mentioned it here before, ah well, to be honest 2012 should be pretty big. New websites that will work on apple devices, new Youtube style video player that will work everywhere, and then the apps that should launch by Round 1, big year for my areas.

just to further smokeys comments, will the video require some obscure codecs like Micro$oft's silverlight or will it just require flash player so as many people as possible can watch it without issues?

Thank heavens a positive post. Could not agree more and can't wait to see what they come up with.

There is an unofficial app Stripes (free) that has lots of good stuff in it.  News, Ladder, Fixture, Results, Twitter, Links and the Club Song.
