I thought it was more than just an update. I heard talk that there was a new provider or developer.

As part of the deal the Telstra web-sites have an "update" every year

Going on past experiences I wouldn't be getting too excited  ;D

I thought you'd be more informed than that!

Brand new website from scratch, it looks like an actual 2012 website. Clubs have been in discussions with telstra/developers/afl since maybe August, very involved process, very confident it will be good.

Plenty of stuff going in there, maybe not all live in v1.0 but I'm confident you'll like it. AFL are putting a big effort into AFL Media, the times they are a changing.

All good = I stand corrected

I wasnt informed because you hadn't told me Mr RFC Official

If the "News" had come from an AFL or Telstra release I would have ignored it but if you had announced it I would have believed  ;D

But anytime Telstra involved I reserve the right to be cynical, their track record isn't great :thumbsup :thumbsup

What for? So you can be a hero by bagging them on a forum? Hang your head in shame. You need to support your club.

 :lol :lol ......

I do support but like anyone I am allowed to question and be crictical of them which is very different than baggimg them.

And FWIW if I have an issue then I contact them ..... rather than just sitting behind a keyboard and posting it here.....  ;D

Could swear I've mentioned it here before, ah well, to be honest 2012 should be pretty big. New websites that will work on apple devices, new Youtube style video player that will work everywhere, and then the apps that should launch by Round 1, big year for my areas.

Great news, the only thing attractive about the current website is the Yellow and Black.

With respect RFCO, I reserve my right to hold judgement until the products are released. Previous site upgrades have been the equivalent of the same old Telstra turd, rolled in glitter and force fed to the masses for consumption.

I don't like it and I have a right to say it.

Gee its 2012.
Who would have expected the club to have to grasped modern technology and utilised long standing media apps?

Real progress.....albeit 7 or more stuffing years late.

What a joke

Don't want to do a big richo, but what the hell can be done to a footy club's site besides a news feed, team list and a fixture?

More an industry lagging behind due to long-term contracts than an individual club.
