New websites that will work on apple devices, new Youtube style video player that will work everywhere, and then the apps that should launch by Round 1, big year for my areas.just to further smokeys comments, will the video require some obscure codecs like Micro$oft's silverlight or will it just require flash player so as many people as possible can watch it without issues?

RFC_Offical - Is there any offical Richmond Apps yet? If so/not where/when can we download them and what will the cost (initially and for downloads etc) be? I recently purchased an iPhone and moved into the 1990's, so am keen to have access to anything Tiger related asap Cheers
Quote from: RFC_Official on January 09, 2012, 09:54:14 AMBut the websites arent being designed by Telstra. There is the single best piece of news I've heard in 2012. Now, as long as the site caters for Linux as well as Macs then we can all be happy campers. It's a big world out there RFC_O and not all of us are beholden to Big Brother.
But the websites arent being designed by Telstra.
My worry in this regard, is that unless there is some standard look & feel navigation on each of the 18 club sites, it will be time consuming finding the positioning of the data. Not all sites have an intuitive style.
Its interesting that originally the Bummers took a chance and went off on their own and created a pretty good independent website through IMG but then it was shrouded by the Telstra cloak of header and footer banners. Obviously this was done as part of the AFL sponsorship commitments to Telstra. I am expecting that our new site will be as good or if not better than essendonfc now that a 3rd party is involved but expect to have the Bogpond header and footer crap.
