I'd rather gain members thanks to Cuz than have our players doing camp nudey videos holding Santa hats over their privates and singing Christmas songs like the Dees have done to attract attention .

I knew the Dees were going bad and one fella said to me today that he would rather them merge that move.
I would rather it the opposite way if it was up to me and if it was Richmond.

The Herald-Sun today says by yesterday we are up to 14,000. That's 2500 on board since Cousins was picked up - 500 new/renewed memberships per day when we usually only get 500 a week.

Every club has its bandwagoners. Look at Hawthorn. Their membership has virtually doubled in 3 years.

I wonder how many of the 2500 are new members or supporters who haven't been a member for years? Those calling up SEN begging us to get Cousins were barrackers promising to become members for the first time.

I resigned about 3 week ago and I'm waiting for mine in the post. But then again maybe the wife got out to the posty before I did and hide it on me as it's a Christmas present this year for me.
I don't really care as I know I'm an 09 member already. So I'm happy.

Make of it what you will, but I was one of those who re-signed this week...not because of Cuz, it just timed out that way. I was originally looking to sign on the week earlier, but being a publican, at this time of year, its hard to get time to orchestrate joint memberships with mates in reserved seats when we only speak monthly outside football season. Last Friday week, I preferred the extra 2 hours sleep, rather than get up early to drop my forms into my mates workplace, knowing I was gonna work 12+ hour days/nights all weekend. Being a 17 year member now (since mid-teens), I'm pretty comfortable in thinking I'm not a bandwagoner.

Pretty sure I would have signed without Cuz this week too
