I my opinion, I think some are a little harsh on King. Sure he is no Rolls Royce when it comes to disposal, but just remember it was his first game back this year to take him to a career of 34 games. I think if Kingy was an early draft pick we would all be saying "he is young and  learning the game or give him time, his skills will improve". That fact he came off the rookie list, i feel we mark him a little harder than other.
Confidence as we all know is massive in football these days and for a kid of 30 odd games, it is crucial.
What this kid lacks in skill he more than makes up for in endeavour and tenacity. He is the only bloke on our list who can play on the oppositions small forwards. He tackles and chases, and more to the point has a bit of c#nt in him.
Give Kingy a chance and I am pretty sure he will give 100% every time he crosses the white line for us. I would much prefer to lose games with Kingy having a go and making a few mistakes than watching teams smash us because we are gutless!
Good luck Kingy and hopefully i see you next Monday against the Doggies!

Based on today's efforts neither McMahon or Thursfield should be considered

It's a pity Silvestor isn't a promoted rookie - gee he is playing sensational footy

I would think that Thompson needs some more game time, ran out of puff in the final qtr.

But if you're looking at a bigger body to replace say an Edwards then I'd certainly consider him

Collins should get a run this week as a rotating player through the middle and Patto should also come in. Patto could fill the spot as the power foward (At Docklands) and help out in the ruck.

Collins will get a game soon Camboon but I think Thomson will get a gig first. Patto may get a game but not unless he is fit. With Hughes and Schulz both struggling to fill the role perhaps Patto is worth a try at FF...

Patto's just come back from a semi-lengthy injury spell (foot op) so he may need a couple of games with the Burgers before being considered.

The Dome is a fast dry track and the doggies aren't littered with talls nor big bodies but they do have clean foot skills so not a bad time for Collo to make his debut. If Thomson is right I would bring him in too to support Foley and Tuck. Hard footy is what will us the game.

OUT: King, Edwards
IN: Collins,  Thomson/Cogs/Tambling (all depends on fitness).

All depends on how bad Tambling's hamstring is but my gut feeling is that none of the 3 will play.  Collins for King is a possibility but that might be about it.

Unless it's McMahon for King.  And before I start the flame war of the 21st century - I think his style is much more suited to playing the Bulldogs and his weaknesses won't be exposed nearly as much.   I'm not saying he is our best option - just saying it won't surprise to see him picked.

Flame away.

If McMahon had have played well for Coburg, maybe, but he stunk it up by all reports so he shouldn't come back no matter who we play.

If Blingers has a hammy I'm guessing he'll probably miss another week.

In: Thomson, Collins
Out: Edwards, Nahas

Good changes  :thumbsup

it would be a disgrace if he comes back in at the expense of a Rance or a Polo.

Edwards maybe because he is just as pathetic as Mcmahon IMO.

Out: Edwards, Nahas, Polo & King

In: Cogs, Thompson, Tambling & JON

But really now:

Out: Edwards & King
In: Tambling & Cogs

lol - yeah let's drop Polo who was easily one of our best (is that you Terry?) and Nahas, who for a first gamer did well.  Let's also bring back the Prince Tambling who doesn't need to work for his spot (let's roll out the red carpet for him also)  The witness has done F all his entire carreer and ferals are still dreaming about him.

King should never get a game again, and Edwards (Tambling mark II) should earn his spot and actually play some coburg games.  He's been poo for as long as I can remember.

JON ?  WTF ?
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

I would say no change, let the same 22 back it up.  We will beat the Dogs.
Nahas to kick 5.  Polo to take Griffen to the cleaners.
