your optimism is fantastic but gee he played one servicable game. thats one in 4 years, hardly ground breaking stuff.

Good on em for giving it a crack but he should be nowhere near our best 22.


I agrre with Stripes,  hard to belive but thought he had little bit of Micheal Long in the way he played - yes I know he's no Micheal Long yet but I was proud of him with all the mud he has had to carry I belive he took the next step - has a faw steps to go yet, but I hope he suceeeds!

i am TOTALLY astounnded that some people think he played well.
Watched the replay again on One HD last night.
He made several significant errors , especially in the 3rd quarter, .
One of the many reasons the RFC is where is it ,as some players havent or more importantly cant "'step up to the plate""
Jarrod falls into the latter, as his kicking skills and decision making are very poor.
His kicking is extremely bad., especially in traffic and when in transition.
Positives for Jarrod that he was prepared to be the "'hit-up target"" although was afraid to kick when he did gain possesion.
Might be sum trade value and years end.
I say leave him in the team for another week, the alternative is to bring back Schulz, NO THANK YOU.

MMM, didnt notice the contested marking, forward pressue and precision passing to others in better position. If you think we should leave him in the team says volumes to me. He might fall in a heap but at face value it was pleaseing to see him compete. I must admitt those lead marks were very good . Anyway I hope he steps up again this week.

well said, certainly did enough to warrant another game, let him build on that, next week he may be shooting for goal rather than look to give off, made space well and took some nice marks...thought someone said he just turned 21...whoa, veteran huh

Back to reality boys!! It was typical JON today. Kicking into the man on the mark and dancing around on the spot looking confused.

Was not the worst by any means but if thats our future geez we need to tank for the next 10 years

Er are we watching the same game? Played well in the 2nd qtr, drifted out of it in the 2nd half but did not see much of him.
He'll get another game unless Browny is fit - which TBH is not that fair, Browny needs some reserves time.

regarding JON he showed nice glimpses i agree with you there and as i said he wasn't our worst but gee we need to rebuild further if that is our depth.

For the limited time he got on the ground he did OK. Certainly not as good as last week but he certainly wasn't our worst (that would go to the bloke in number 20 but back to the topic)

I will be interested to see what the replay shows because I am sure it wouldn't show his work off the ball

of course you unfairly don't mention his 5 handballs, but that wouldn't help your position.
Anyway, using your criteria of  needing 7 kicks to warrant a game next week, then Moore (5k), Morton (5k),Graham (5k), Rance (2k) and Nahas (6k) all won't be selected.

I thought JON was ok.

If Jack snapped teh ball over his head and we levelled the score. The game turned into a draw. We woudln't be eating our own "again" this week. So for mine lets focus on next week, we play like we did yesterday and we beat Brisbane no matter what the show up as.
