Richmond's Tyler Sonsie has been sent direct to the VFL Tribunal for striking in the VFL. Graded as intentional, severe and high contact with a base sanction of 5+ matches.

It wasn't a "coward punch"  - he didn't blindside him they were facing each other - also doubt it was his intent to actually chin him but to push him the chest but he stuffed it up - still an idiot for doing it though.  :shh

I don't think it should be 5 weeks, 4 max IMHO

But it appears the way the rules etc are written it will be 5 weeks

Let's hope we got past Wildcard round and he can serve some of it via the VFL
