There were several times yesterday that he crashed into a contest trying to assert himself.........and a couple of times he did.

He didn't even miss a year of footy, WP. Got injured in July last year from memory, definitely played a game or two for us in the second half of 2011. He's been back playing for months as well now. Surely he reminds you of #37 with how he goes about his footy?

Got injured round 12 last year when he dislocated his kneecap, never will forget being up in Sydney that game and seeing the mess his knee was.

Didn't play for the remainder of 2011 as the dislocation caused major damage to his knee ligaments (including the ACL) so he had a reco.

Didn't start playing again for Coburg until around June maybe July.

So I think it's fair to say he's missed over 12 months of footy and close to 15-16 months of AFL footy

Hence why I am prepared to give him some latitude but yeah the way he is moving at the moment it is certainly #37 like

Versatile Richmond tall David Astbury is confident he is over a series of injuries which have cruelled the early part of his career.

The 21-year-old has been luckless through injury in the last two seasons, but has not missed a beat in the Tigers’ 2013 pre-season so far.
