Boak now wants out of Port ...

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/boak-cuts-power-eyes-deal-with-cats-20120806-23qew.html

No surprise there

Just shows how stupid Port is

Should have got that signature first which was a given while Matty Primus was coach and then sacked him  ;D

I wouldn't bother, he will end up at Geelong.

North is the other team in the box seat. Not sure what his connection is there?

Definitely closer than driving from Adelaide. Still think he is getting way too much publicity, is a good footballer, not great.

I'll take Coach's word on him, but would be stoked just to get Houli kind of output if it were to eventuate. The more I look at the types we have been luring from other clubs at no cost or loss the more I see it as just recruiting that core in the 22-26 age bracket that we should have already owned had our 2005-2009 drafting been better. If Thomas can seamlessly come in and out of the side and not be detrimental to our structures then I'm all for it and happy to add some depth.

Chaplin, Thomas, Boak, Primus, broke, I wonder if McCarthy is wishing he just told Port to get stuffed yet.

Oh my stuffing god. Thomas is a monkey. Russel is a monkey. Chaplin is soft and inconsistent and who is the other spud we're chasing? Lachie Hansen?

"Why doesn't Craig Cameron get credit for anything" :lol

gee whiz. ;D

Hanson is a budding Flower about to burst into Full Bloom......All we need to do is get him on the list add some blood and bone Bingo, we have a GUN :shh

Pretty sure McCarthy told them his preference was Richmond, they were going to take him anyway and I guess he is the type of guy that was just grateful to get another shot. Would have come in handy as he is the exact type of 'depth' player I believe we need. Miles in front of a King/Webberley/White/Maric . . .

He could have declined a medical at port though and played hardball.   His loss now though as we have moved on.  :thumbsup
