Shane Edwards improving quickly also. Hardwick is bringing improvement to some players who some of us thought were gone!

Yep.  Agree with him or not, Tigermonk is on the money when he says our single biggest failing as a club has been our inability to develop kids.  Well, I have to say that from all I have seen this year, we now appear to be getting that very important aspect right.

Graham has strung 3 good games together.

It's upto Vickery and Browne to step up also.

Our midfield is looking quite good ATM.

Astbury and Riewoldt are looking the goods and throw in Griffiths and the future all of a sudden is looking a little more rosier.

Edwards is our most improved player on the list this season. :thumbsup

And let's not forget the effort of Luke McGuane when he charged down a kick to rush the behind, taking a heavy knock to the leg in the process
The contact was a bit higher than the leg too .... ouch! :-X

And I lost count of the number of times I saw Tambling arise from the bottom of a pack/contest.  An important observation for a number of reasons.
Agree smokey. A very unselfish and team orientated game from Blingers today. Lots of hard bodied work off the ball and at stoppages.

Why do they make excuses for teams when they're getting beaten by us?
Port played in Darwin - big effing deal  :banghead

Funny that Froars, smell an agenda here?

I agree FNM, These are top level athlete's with some of the best facilities and medical/training teams in the land.  If they cannot recover in a week there is somthing serioulsy wrong.  No way should it be an excuse.   :sleep

A snippet from Mark Williams press conference tonight:

“They got in there in front of us and before us. Tom Logan, Dom Cassisi, David Rodan and Travis Boak had one clearance between the four of them.”

Would that be the same David Rodan that posters on here consider our worst ever trading error in living history?

 :lol

Probably missing our 2nd biggest ever trading mistake - Jay Schulz.

This round showed we haven't missed any of them. Raines and Meyer were emergencies for their respective sides.

nearly 20 years since I have had a bet on the footy.
This week I backed richmond to win by less than 27 sat $6.50 and to win by less than 40 at $5.15.

Just before the game I started to get cold feet so went to lay off at 26 points in at 1.90 but couldnt get on - too late.

We won by too much and this is what i think of that.

Matthew White was teriffic today...he was one of the few players to "keep his feet" all day.

Well done Matt.

Goes without saying best game of the year for Bling and Cousins.

Very important win for the club. Will bring real confidence. Jack was fantastic. Most importantly it will not be a winless season. One cannot under estimate what effect a winless season would have had on the club. We were lucky port did not have motlop and brogan and the weather conditions suited us but having said that we won interstate. It was a great effort.

yesterdays conditions were made for fair dinkum hard work.....motlop is a lazy prick, if he had of played he would not have got a touch.
