Give it a few years and they'll be rattling tins and sacking coaches as they were in the glory days of the late 90's and early 2000's when Watson and Blight between them couldn't cobble up anything with a list that was worse than ours in 2003-04.

That's why clubs like Melbourne, St Kilda, Dogs, SH1tboners make me sick they have a few good years and the members inflate such is their success starvation yet us despite our humiliation and lack of success we had 40 K last year and this year will be close to 50K this year. WIth a bit of success the Benny Gale blueprint of 3-0-75 is not unrealistic knowing the support we have who will only jump on board when we start winning consistently.
I am sure we all remember the big crowds we played in front of in the 95-98 timeframe and that was only one finals app with the hope of more after 95. Imagine if we get it all right.

After yesterdays numbers and Australia day training numbers are added, we'll be over 28,000 now. We will close the gap between us and the bombers and hawks 

I'd  very much doubt it, there was a few hundred at training and didn't really look like a set up for membership drive.

 . We have some family days this weekend too in ballarat, geelong and hobart. A win or a good showing in Friday's all star game will have us flying

We should be at 30k by the end of the week. Great effort with still 7 weeks until round 1. We're 6,600 ahead of this time last year and we reached 36k by round 1 last year. So we're likely to be around 42-43k by round 1 this year  .
