Also why Essendon make so much off their deal at Etihad stadium. The limited capacity means that many of their members get reserved seats every year.

The Eagles have a 8000 long waiting list apparently and word is Freo this year sold out and now will have a waiting list. That explains why the AFL is considering a 3rd team in Perth when there's almost 10,000 fans combined on waiting lists of the two existing clubs. Mind you if the WA Government got its act together and built a new stadium or redeveloped Subiaco into a larger stadium then these fans would be able to fit in.

Hopefully the 3rd qtr burst and the competitive showing on the scoreboard will keep the membership tally ticking over nicely.

Gold coast - less than 12,000 members with their first game less than 1 week away.

They'd have to be concerned with that figure. I know they dont play there for a couple of months but their stadium holds 25,000. They'll be lucky to fill it.

Gee Ramps, have you looked at the membership ladder and taken into account the level of success we've had over the past 30 years. You're asking us to be second on the ladder just behind the scum. Still a little while to go before membership figures are counted too. 42,000 is not a bad effort so far and bodes well for when we finally get out poo together.
