Gold Coast     12,090
GWS               8,827 .............. ($50 foundation members)

Adelaide: N/A  (limited memberships available)

Not sure if the WC tally is correct one-eyed....think it includes waiting list members as indicated below...

From Bigfooty - http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=785003&page=53

From Bigfooty (Hawks fan) The Official AFL audit for season 2010 @ 30/6/10 showed that the West Coast Eagles total was at 44,160.
So there is no why in hell that your figure of 54,268 is correct and The _Wookie fell for it.

and the subsequent reply from an eagles fan...

That includes waiting list members I believe, essentially everyone willing to pay to be members of the club.

$60 a season IIRC, for up to four seats when they become available.. which is not any time soon.

The AFL "audits" are dodgy as well because you can have two memberships - one ticketed and one non-ticketed - that cost the same amount yet only the ticketed one will be counted in the audit. So while Richmond will say it had 42k members last year; the AFL will say we had just 36k. That's why we've made our old Tiger Insider package linked to game entry so it's counted. If we reach 50k members by the cut-off at the end of June (?), watch out for some lazy jpurno say our membership has jumped up by 14k.

We are only getting 100 a day now that the season is up and running. I am hoping a win against top 8 opposition over the next 3 weeks might boost those daily figures even higher to somewhere between 150 and 200.

The Record tonight said we have 8,306 new members. Hopefully after tonight we sign a few more before our first real home game next week.

No figure given Friday morning. Would say about 42,500. Would be nice to get to 44,000 by the start of our Round 3 game. A draw against St kilda will give our supporters hope and increase sales. With our first home game coming up for the season against Hawthorn and our good performances in the first 2 games I think we can hit 44,000 by Saturday night including pre game sales at the G before the clash. Look out if we win  8)

That's what I thought, it's not going to hurt at all.

Only about 5-600 behind the 2009 figure. We should get 46,000 at the very least this year but we should expect to win a few more by midseason this time which will get us closer to 50,000. Expect a record membership this year

I reckon their were many old supporters who have jumped off for whatever reason wouldve jumped back on if we beat the Blues round 1. I know it's no excuse but I know of atleast 5 of those ex members.
That one win would of blown the memberships above 50K easy IMHO.

Would they jump on if we beat the hawks?  8)

it's all about history. Richmond v carlton in all those finals & grand finals. We should've beat 'em in '72 and '82.

I still think a win this week against Hawthorn or at worst a really good showing and one next week against
the Pies and the fans will still have alot of cause for optimism. The draw for our first month has been horrendous.
