Can someone please explain to me what exactly he has done that has impressed them consistently since he joined the club??

What were his breakout games since joining the club, when has he really taken a game buy the scruff of the neck and made an impact? Please list with examples.

.... Don't think he's tough ...

I agree his disposal can be poor on occasion, but he has to be one of our 'tougher' players. Never squibs a contest, rarely has a tackle broken when he lays it. He's been disappointing and I'd say injuries play a huge part in that. When fit (2013) he offers good run and often makes good decisions with the ball.

If Conca is fit he is better than the bottom 6 players we currently use = win for us.

Please enlighten me. Seems almost everyone on this forum wants him gone.

I don't judge him on his 2015 season. Played well against the Hawks . Ordinary against the Crows.
Not his fault the Coach selected him ( not match fit ) in that final.

Did we pay " overs " - possibly , but this is hardly a mistake of " Tambling ' proportions.

I thought back in 2014 , he was comfortably in our top dozen players.

He will be like a new recruit next year.

The only thing I was really disappointed with was that " dog act " where he hit the GWS bloke from behind.

Also, think he is one of only a few at our club who's tackles actually stick

And we are paying through the nose for him salary wise.

And you know this how? Think this is incorrect as it was widely reported he took unders to stay, knocked back a huge offer from Freo. SO not sure

At the time it was reported IIRC he was on 350-400k pa, which isn't alot for a good player but we're talking about a guy who is will be in his 6th season of afl next year, can't get on the park, but when he does is a liability.

Sorry I missed the listed games where he broke them open, made an impact and took the game by the scruff of the neck, as I have only ever seem him take a player by the scruff of the neck from behind, very tough!..you must have seen them listed through the RCG's!!

Said it many times before, Conca can play and play very well. We all see things differently but i see a player who sticks tackles, runs into the rights positions, gets the hardball, clearances, kicks well enough, team player, brings others into the game like Edwards does and even he still cops it from some . Keeper for mine

Arguably yes or no....but there are separate threads for that and in any event, it shouldn't be used as an excuse to overlook his fundamental shortcomings

I am not trying to ignore his short comings. I don't hate Conca as a player nor do I love him. I am quite ambivalent toward him in fact. But he is a whipping boy. Ox, as an example calls him fat in other threads and at 185 cm and 78 kegs he has me getting lap band surgery.
