* It’s extremely frustrating. Sort of been the story of my career a little bit.

* Obviously this year’s probably been a bit more significant in that I missed pretty much the whole season.  I played three games overall, whereas in previous years I’d been able to scrape through 17-18 games. I’d sort of get the hamstring right, then come back and two or three times I’d play a couple of games and then get re-injured. You get your hopes up and then you get crushed again. I guess playing in the elimination final was a little bit of a bonus at the end of a pretty disappointing year.

* I feel in really good nick physically, so I’m pretty sure that all my injuries should be behind me from here on in. I’m looking forward to a massive pre-season and a big season next year.

One of the things I don't get about Conca is his lack of muscle definition.

With all the chance to hit the gym whilst being injured so often, he appears podgy from neck to toe. And is too old for puppy fat.

Looked more like a footballer 2-3 years ago.
