Better player than Pettard.

No he's not.

Yes he is and if you don't agree your just accepting mediocrity

No. They're both mediocre but Batch is worse.

How so?
I tend to agree with MM. Petterd has shown he can dominate at VFL level. Last week he played one half and had 20 possessions. I don't think Batch has ever dominated any game.

Same player except Pettard has more athleticism and maybe work ethic (not sure if Batch is just that slow or lazy)

that's debatable
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Batch might hit targets, but unfortunately so do his opponents...namely the target between the big sticks

Unfortunately by that time the balls been chipped sideways and back ways and all the opposition is camping in our forward 50

Dimma destroyed him.
Had a good first year and started of 2012 well. Had a great game against the Pies in round 2 that year and was looking great. Could take an overhead mark, read the play and was tough with ground level skills also. Only question mark was his kicking.

Post that St Kilda game at the dome in 2012 he has gone downhill. Had a terrible game against Freo the following week and then put another stinker the following week against GWS and he has never looked back. :help

Player            Club     Kicks    Handballs    Disposals    Marks    Hit-outs    Frees For    Frees Agst Tackles    Goals    Behinds    AFL Fantasy
Jake Batchelor    RICH  5        4        9        4        0        0        1        1        0        0        36

9 possies, gee whiz.  They really have to play him elsewhere to see if he can do something better.

Played well when we were on top and poo when we weren't. Hardly Robinson Crusoe on that score.
"Much of the social history of the Western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good...."

- Thomas Sowell

“If women stopped working, everything would be fine. If men stopped working, everyone would die.”
