Leigh Matthews whose opinion I respect greatly had Batchelor in our best 3 today and suggested that he is underrated by many. Said his kicking is very very good

Batch has improved this year, he's ok

Has shown a lot of improvement this year and if he is forced from our 22 by a better player then we will be in a very good position depth-wise.

I like Batch but his kicking does fluctuate a lot. Can give a perfect bullet but then miss an open lob the next time. Needs to work on his consistency (in regards to kicking)

I think Leigh Matthews is hypocritical, blithering idiot who should have been thrown in a nursing home 5 years ago. Having said that I think Batch is a solid player for the most part. His kicking and decision making can be VFL 2's standard at times though
