The UN human rights panel has released its reasoning for finding WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been “arbitrarily detained” by Britain and Sweden since December 2010, and should be freed and compensated.

UK police, however, insist he still faces arrest. Downing St said the ruling was not binding and that the arrest warrant will remain in place.

Not sure how one can be "detained" when one voluntarily cowardly went running to the Ecuador to hide

i dont think so TM unless he has something official from british police which isnt likely.

I think he will die in the embassy or die in the states with Eddie Snowden

So you'd go running to hide in an embassy, when you've supposedly got nothing to hide leaving your kids behind and then sook about not being able to see your kids and being  persecuted?

No I wouldn't but in not in his position and neither are you so sit down champ

Perhaps he thinks this is his only chance of seeing his kids again. His jail bound the second he walks into Sweden unless a deal is brokered.

Your bubblegum and lollipops world view is refreshing yet bizarre

Please give me a break

You think  Assange is some sort of hero

I think he is a grubby little coward who believes in  his own self importance

Has no respect for this country or its citizen's

But then has the audacity to sook that this country that he has treated with nothing but disdain doesn't look after him

He is a gutless, pathetic individual

He aint no hero
