didnt do a lot at all.

17 important touches with effective disposal of 88% for edwards

matt white, 6 disposals  50% efficiency

think again buddy and watch the game properly
watched it very closely bud and 17 possesions with  a number of very ordinary possesions  is not good enough for a mid who gets significant game time. when hes not butchering it hes not getting enough of it. these have been two constant criticisms along with his size and pooty defensive game.. hes had one 20 possesion game that was against collingwood and the majority of possesions in that game were school yard standard.
as for your ke% stats you keep em they mean jack poo.

have to agree on white but the excuse brigade keep on making excuses. i wonder who he had to tag this week some third or fourth stringer i suppose. tagging or not 6 possesions a game in the last two weeks and an average of about 8 a game this yr  is just lousy. and its not down much on when he wasnt getting tagging roles

graham mcguane and rance were bloody awful and vickery continues to struggle to get a touch.ben nason was terrible as well.

ah a win papers over many things.i can see the ferals now we won no changes never mind performance.

I must admit, I watch the game again this morning and felt Edwards was very good. I don't think Edwards role is to rack up 20+ possessions, with the likes of Foley, Martin, Cotchin, Houli, Grigg, Deledio are all getting 25+ possies, there isn't a lot going around. Edwards role is to provide run and carry and break the lines. I thought he was pretty good at that against the Roos. Not perfect in terms of those roles, but very good none the less. Don't know what you were watching.

I just watched the game again and Edwards was very good, some very nice work to get the ball out of congestion and into space
Back to his form from last year

Much better this week, that pass to Miller in the 3rd when we switched the play was terrific, last week he would have kicked it to Dimma on the bench  ;D

no concessions on his performance from me, just average and what should be the norm for an afl footballer (lets face it, he hardly tore the game apart) - I waited 4 pathetic weeks before I finally let rip, he needs to be consistently good which I'm pretty certain wont happen

I believe Titch Edward is improving, his mistakes come under pressure  when he takes on the opposition. I believe he has been told to take on the opposition and will get better at it but will make some mistakes along the way.
He is not the only one that has been instructed to take them on!  IMHO we should have been taking these calculated risks years ago. Anyone remember the basketball cr@p we (coached) used to dish up.

He will continue to make mistakes but hopefully our coaching staff can continue to work on his awareness and he might be able to surprise a few of us.

A step in the right direction. Hopefully the confidence his coach has shown him pays off and he goes on with it to keep the wolves at bay.

Without jumping the gun and getting to emotional.

Should be playing 2's. He did some OK link up things I don't know if I'm being too kind or being negative he was OK.

But just does costly things.

How many grubbers has he kicked this year? Grubbers and in shanks/shin kicks. The kicks that go about 15 metres and are no higher than 1m off the ground. Happened again tonight with an attempted shot or something.

I'd rather Helbig than Edwards at the moment.

Im the first to want him out but on tonights game he wont be going anywhere.

He was serviceable tonight and played his role.

I agree though wont be part of our future.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Disagree.

Was unaccountable and ineffective.

Pulled out of a contest to spoil in the first quarter - Brisbane mark and goal no.2. Richmond fans livid.

Grubbed a kick into our F50 around 15 min mark, under absolutely no pressure, turnover.

Gave up chasing in the third quarter - Brisbane goal.

Generally didn't contribute other than the occasional link up.

In the bottom 3 players for us tonite.
