Heard a lot of clubs interested with a 4th. If Morris costs us a 4th only then would be more than happy with this kid as 3rd pick.

For those interested, I've posted a collection of video highlights from the AFL website for 67 potential draftees. I'll add more as they become available.

On TAC Future Stars yesterday (Sunday) they ran a first round phantom draft. The order of the draft is still to be determined but before beating the Crows when this was done we had pick 14.

1. GWS - Jonathon Patton
2. GWS - Stephen Coniglio
3. GWS - Chad Wingard
4. Port Adel - Dom Tyson
5. GWS - Billy Longer
6. Gold Coast - Taylor Adams
7. GWS - Devon Smith
8. Brisbane - Toby Greene
9. GWS - Will Hoskin-Elliot
10. Adelaide - Matthew Buntine
11. GWS - Hayden Crozier
12. Melbourne - Todd Elton
13. GWS - Nic Haynes
14. Richmond - Elliot Kavanagh
15. GWS - Daniel Markworth
16. Bulldogs - Liam Sumner
17. Fremantle - Sam Docherty
18. North Melb - Brad McKenzie
19. Essendon - Mitchell Grigg
20. Sydney - Tom Mitchell (F/S)
21. St Kilda - Seb Ross
22. Carlton - Adam Tomlinson
23. West Coast - Clay Smith
24. Hawthorn - Michael Talia
25. Geelong - Josh Tynan
26. Collingwood - Brandon Ellis

Anyone that thinks Mitch Grigg will last to pick 19 shouldn't be putting together Phanton Drafts

Seems it was on TAC future stars it is heavily biased to any player born in Victoria. Suprised Coniglio/Grigg/Wingard even got in the draft.

I havent seen all the highlight tapes and certainly you cant tell just from those who are any good but Mitch Grigg, Sam Frost, Luke Brown, Henry Schade, Brett O'Hanlon and Gibson Turner looked like good possibilities to me just from the first batch of videos I saw. Theres no point looking at Hoskin Elliott and the likes of Dominic Tyson coz they wont be available when we pick IMHO.

Nothing to do with us but Emma Quayle has posted that Hawthorn will only be using 2 picks in the National draft. Probably sums up what many clubs think of the depth of this draft.

From what i've seen from this draft crop there is a real opportunity to un-earth some players late if we've done our hw. Got to remember Hawthorn were 3mins away from playing a Grand Final while we finished 12th. The draft is even and will have many flunks at the top but also many late successes too. Does our club have faith in our recruiters to do the job. Would also like to see some player for player trades done with players we no longer want.

Wouldn't mind Markworth if our recruiters feel he can play as a mid long-term. Goal-kicking mids with speed are something we need.

A few phantom drafts i've seen rate him very highly on potential. One has him in as a potential A-grader.

^ cheers mate - some interesting watching...

Markworth looks ok - have to back our recruiting staff's judgement with this "thinner draft"...one thing that stands out is that there's not too many bigs/key pos on the phantom draft list - all around the 180 - 190mark and fairly light on (bar a couple)...

76kg's at 189 cm, light but looks like plenty of room to pack on some beef, tracking nicely for mid to upper 80kg mark with a few pre seasons in the gym, could be a nice pickup if he has the skills.
