Krakouer in limbo

RICHMOND is likely to defer any decision on troubled midfielder Andrew Krakouer's future at the club, with the West Australian due to appear in court on October 22.
The Tigers' season came to an end yesterday, with a number of players at the club facing the chop in a post-season review.
Krakouer has played nine games this season and only two since Round 9, with his form steadily deteriorating since he played some excellent trial games early on.
The 24-year-old has played the season with assault charges hanging over his head after a December incident in Perth, with the charges recently upgraded to assault intending to occasion bodily harm.
Those charges carry a maximum term of 20 years' jail.
While Krakouer would likely be dropped from the list on form alone, the club has done everything possible to support him in a tough year.
