Mate, in a previous life, I used to go over and watch a fair bit of the WAFL , pass.
Problem is the bottom six players in each team are terrible, make that 10 players :banghead
Pathetic crowds I thought as well

Agree on the crowds, but its not in that bad a state regarding the players.

There isnt any depth

So how does that stack up against the SANFL and Vic footy then??

VFL is miles ahead at the moment, due to TAC players who miss out on AFL selection going  to VFL Clubs.
Problem you have with both SAFL and WAFL is that players who fall out of the AFL system go back to these comps, example being T. Roach, Jesse Smith  etc.
saying that I havent seen and SAFL or WAFL game live for 4 years now, so things might have changed
Also Vic Footy Suburban Footy pays good money, so that players who also have been involved in AFL go back there and get great $$$$ a game, on par with SA footy eg Patrick Bowden, Troy Simmonds, Kane Johnson, Brodie Holland, Ben Haynes, Scott Lucas, Luke Livingston, etc

In fairness we could say the same thing about the VFL nowdays. Docklands was lucky if it was 1/4 full today. For the old VFA Grand Finals in the late 70s/early 80s the Junction Oval would be packed.

Nothing wrong with the WAFL.

Will always be a fertile breading ground for the AFL.Anyone who says otherwise has rocks in their head.

In 2010 there were 27 players playing in the AFL who had played for East Fremantle. That is the most by any club outside the AFL.

That is a cold hard FACT

Andrew Krakouer was fantastic today...Will be a ready made AFL player in 2011 and will make an immediate impact. The only question is whether he will be an Eagle or a Docker.
