is Hicks still at the club?
thought he rode at pakenham in the first race yesterday ::)

yes played coburg ressies I believe

I know he's been injured but struth he hasn't looked close to getting promoted this year at all

Of the handful of Coburg games I've seen he wasn't great.

Raises the question will they keep him beyond this year  ???

Was really disappointed in the Hicks selection.

I was so keen on Matthew Scott who ended up going Round 3 of the rookie draft and since went on to win Werribee's Best and Fairest in the Reserves and had 3 best on grounds for Werribee this year before doing his knee. Any blind man could see this kid was going to be a decent gamble on drafting (Unlucky to blow his knee out)

Annoys me that an average joe that knows no more about football than the average bloke can see this and yet our paid recruiters can't.

Hicks was a terrible draft choice IMO.

Hardwick still the man?

Certainly is. Still has a season and 6 games to run in his contract.

Is Hardwick responsible for Jako Edwards McGuane Thursty White etc?

Jackson kicking to a two on one against in the middle of the ground for the ball to be turned over b/c Jako can't hit a target or make a correct decision or a quick instinctive one, cannot be put on the coach in the heat of battle.
Let it go.

Then yes this time next year he may be back with his mate at Hawthorn.
That is why the message he needs to preach this off season needs to be stronger than the one he dictated two years ago. Has to go back to his mantra of 2009 when he took over and 2010 to keep his job for 2013.

we have 10 players who played today who would struggle to get a game with Noble Park. Its just diabolical what the recruiters have done over the last 5 years. Just disgraceful.

absolutely spot on there tucker, but the problem is that hardwick has said that jackson would one of his first picked every week, and that concerns me.

Agree the comments made about Jackson and Edwards are haunting Hardwick IMHO.

So I have to ask, if we had been flogged like the Dees were..........would they have sacked Hardwick???

I think they actually may of, not that I would like to see it happen.
