The Maric talk bewilders me.

I believe he would be a backward step from Graham & Browne.

Why Jacobs & Mumford were not chased when then left their original clubs shows how slow we are to identify real list need.

I too would throw a heap of money at Naitanui.
Aim high or go home!  :lol
Its funny, both Jacobs and Mumford were spoken about the same way you and others are now speaking of Maric. I'm not saying Maric is a superstar or will end up like Mumford, but he is miles in front of Browne and Graham. Graham is pathetic.

and brownes not? :chuck

Browne at least just turned 21 a short while ago. Deserves a bit more time, plenty of big guys have started slowly.

BY who? Mummy could clearly play. Showed quite a bit in his last year at Geelong. And Jacobs effing dominated the elim final last year didn't he? Maric is what? 25? Maybe he does have a dip but he is hardly better than Beefcake.

I think Browne has time on his side as opposed to Gus, BTW I think if we are serious they should both be gone by 2012 end. Maric and Derickx to take most of our ruck load next year, hoping that Derickx can stay fit and free of injury because he is a tackle machine for a bloke so big and actually knows how to take a contested grab.

New Adelaide coach Brenton Sanderson just said when asked about Maric that they will be having a list management meeting tomorrow.

The once-seemingly certain passage of out-of-contract Crows ruckman Ivan Maric to Richmond has found a pause.

Maric may decline the Tigers' advance should deposed Crows coach Neil Craig find his way to Punt Road on a three-year deal to be coach Damien Hardwick's senior assistant/mentor or coaching director.

This might keep Maric in Adelaide, but seeking a trade to the Power which also wants an experienced ruckman to replace premiership player Dean Brogan and to support novice Matthew Lobbe.

I believe Neil would be a great addition to our fitness and coaching team and if that mean's Maric declining to join us then so be it.

It's a shame we couldn't have signed Rodney Eade prior to the Jordie trade  ;D.

In all seriousness though I still think the Club will trade for Maric given I was told a few weesk ago he had signed a HOA with us  :-\.

I was told that Knobel was coming back to Richmond but none of you listened.
