Edwards could easily make the transition to the midfield.

If he can iron out the unforced disposal errors like he did in 2010, it is not at all beyond the realms of possibility that he'll be one of our 'wingmen'.

Shane had a very good 2010 and got better as 2011 progressed after a horrible start. Is in our starting 18 IMO. Look forward to a stronger Edwards having a big impact in the middle in 2012.

Exactly right.
Big year for him no doubt but if he gets it together (and by all accounts his preseason has been good), he is no doubt a part of our best 22.
Time will tell and I hope he proves his naysayers wrong.

I personally think Edwards will be much improved in 2012. He has bulked up and all that he needs to improve is his kicking. He is great in traffic and has excellent agility. Also his endurance is first rate.
