Thats not my issue with him being in the leadership group, its the brain fades and stupidity on field that undoes his good...
Let me put it this way, as an example: a player like Jake King shows great leadership on/off field and appears to be a great mentoring type yet he isnt probably considered because of his suspensions or roughness?. If you were to compare the two for suspensions: king is always that lil bit effort too much and is penalised and when you think jacko's doing ok, Bang out of nowhere he does something dumb. And then is rewarded by being selected straight after his suspension ends.
IMO that send the wrong message to the other younger players

Other possibilities could have been vicks or rance or axl?

Maybe this shows we really dont have enough leaders... or at least not yet anyway

I am dissapointed but i can accept it and be wait to be proven wrong.

Nick Maxwells is a dud who puts his foot in his mouth, sniper and basically cant play - hes the capt and it isnt affecting collingwood.
Maybe that is the blueprint, come to think of it hes like a flaming version of that peanut. Theyve even got the same whiffer

Good point. You do need one of these types. I'm an estranged fan of DJ, I thought he showed a lot in his first 10 games, he looked more than capable, but somewhere, something went wrong. But now that he has a 2 year contact I'll get behind him again, I would actually like to see him continue his thuggery, but he needs to do it in a much more measured way. For an 'intellectual' footballer, he needs to think his way around the rules a lot better if he wants to continue to play the mugs role.

I like the guy and he seems clever but IMO he is not in our best 30 players at the club?  Love for him to prove me wrong this year and have a blinder.  Will be happy to be proved incorrect.

Is there room for him and Tucky in the 22 if we are to play finals?

I like Jackson.

I like his toughness I like that he's goes in head first and stands up for his mates.

Richmond used to be the most feared club in the VFL.
Now they are the laughing stock of the AFL.

Until we have someone with his toughness that also has skill add to that maturity & games under their belt, then why not Have Jacko as a leader?

I thought this was a bad decision until I read Bojangles response. If he is doubtful I now consider this to be the worst decision in the history of the RFC.
