What a stuffing miserable time it's going to be if we drop a game to Port or the Dogs or N0rt.

Can you imagine we miss the 8 because of a loss to Nought? :help

A narrow loss to Nought. :banghead

To add insult to injury they win 8 or 9 games for the year. :help

The reality is that have the ability to beat anyone including the Blues, Dons, Adelaide and definitely Freo (as long as it isn't wet and the umpires haven't been paid off  :shh)....and we have the ability to lose to everyone too  :'(.

We've said it before but our season is in our hands. If we drop intensity we get done. The conditions played into their hands and against ours yesterday. I have no doubt that if the weather was better we would have won that game even with the biased umpiring. But as they always say, both teams played in the same conditions so there should be no excuses.  :P

I still think we can do this but if we drop another game against an easier side then we can kiss our chance goodbye  :banghead

Yeah especially if 50% of those wins are already against GWS and GC (shakes head)

yep couldnt agree more

reality set in after the Freo loss

Not that we arent good enough just think we need to find too many wins as well as not having a Saturday like brainfade in any games against Buldogs, Demons, Nought, Port or Suns.

I think the last game was the exception not the rule. The conditions hurt us on the weekend and may actually sting us into action. We are a real chance of beating Adelaide after the bye too. Don't lose faith yet

pipe dreaming

even if we beat adelaide we wont make it

freo and saints have a super easy draw and  have more wins already and a higher percentage

same as geelong

when u rely on other teams losing esp 3 teams there is no stuffing chance

Could be an idea for the few glass half empty types here to do some pre-emptive medicating.....

As if we will only lose 3 more games for the rest of the season..

It won't happen... Even if we have 12 wins going into the Port game (which I would bet my life on that we won't) we will find a way to lose it.

I agree with those comments, not that I'm gonna get hung up on using the "bailey ladder predictor" but if you use it you will see based on freo, saints and cats wins/losses we drop in and out from 8-10th spot. For this reason regardless of 13 wins... Which is what I think well get. We need this freo game to give us 14 wins.

13 wins plus highest percentage for 8th spot
14 wins for 7th and etc
Top spot needs 19 wins plus . It will be collingwood

I watch games and I don't trust the administration of them anymore, they are like scripted for an outcome and the umpires appear determined to unravel us early.  All the going in hard crap that people say Freo were doing, we did early on and were penalised for, when Freo did it, they were rewarded for fouls.  When we dominated in the forward 50 at the end of the game, we couldn't buy a free despite the many infringements but he plucks one out of his arse for Freo as soon as it even looks vaguely viable to kill the game for us.  It stuffing stinks and it makes our players second guess and hesitate and it is a tactic used against us in several games where the powers that be have chalked us down to fail because the other mob are tracking poorly on memberships and are crap clubs, ie Freo, St.kilda (where we beat them anyway).  Hold onto your hats fellas, because they have probably set us up as GWS scalp.
Lots of people name their swords......
