Maric had to be rested bc he was sore as buggery, which comes back to why the hell was he run into the ground the past 6 weeks?
some of us have thrown other options for this scenario. some of us did ask what would happen if we suddenly threw them in the deep end if ivan went down. i suppose those questions have been answered.

Regardless of the options we had a bye 3 weeks ago. The decision making at this club is is not even amateurish. It's Sunday pub league.

Need to get a leader of men
For the opposition to kick 2 goals in 35 secs means he can't coach
Sorry but he can't
And the bottom club as well

It's easy to blame the coach.

The same one that was a hero 6-8 weeks ago.

Stop peddling easy answers that appeal to the masses that want retribution for such a galling loss.

Yep FFS top level AFL players should automatically smash teams like the suns, dont need a coach to take out the rubbish

Just watched the replay again
Dermott was correct
6 man forward line in the last 30 sec
Ridiculous

These are professional footballs, my grandmother would know that if there is 30 seconds left and you are trying to save a game you would help out the defence, why does the coach need to say anything. Shouldnt the team just instinctively know when they should react a particular way. Maybe this is the core of the problem, we have brainless players who cant think for themselves, the coach can only do so much, in the end the players must learn to take control of various situations by themselves.

Exactly as WP who was in Cairns watching the game and sitting near the interchange bench and hearing the instructions of Dimma stated that the players were not listening to his instructions in the last quarter when Dimma was coaching from ground level.

Spruiking seeing the replay again and rehashing what the commentator says is hardly endorsing the coaches capabilities when someone was there in person and saw and heard what went on.

We just have some dumb players who cannot read the situation and hope we get through and react rather than proactively doing something when a situation arises.

Then any player who knows what they were doing should instinctively know to flood back, hear in lies the problem! You can't blame the coach for that.

Sorry .you get the runner to get the players to go behind the ball
Very simple stuff
The players wouldn't know how long left in the game
