Until his season ending injury in round 2 :) I really hope he plays a full season but some players are just cursed as far as injuries are concerned.

Still irks me how goal hungry he is
Set Gordon up beautifully for a goal that he could of gone for himself after he burned off his opponent.

good to see him out there.

He has really good footy smarts (aka awareness)

Agree with blaisee, if he can stand up will be handy. Reckon he will stand up and will play some senior footy  ;D

Will be like a new recruit...

22 games = 40 goals. Could be a really damaging player for us.

I must admit I was underwhelmed by his performance for a senior player. kicked 2 goals ( one of which was a gimme due to the good work by those upfield) About 70 SC points just marginally ahead of other far less experienced forwards.

Don't get me wrong a fair game first game back from injury but nowhere near the standard we recruited him for and against a team vying for the wooden spoon. So lets just say its good to see him back but needs to lift a couple of levels to be back where he was playing for Adelaide.

Positive step for Knights

“It’s bloody tough . . . almost forgot how hard it was.  It’s been a long road to get back, and I’m not back yet – it’s a NAB Cup game . . . I’m exhausted now, but I thoroughly enjoyed it,” Knights told ‘Roar Vision’ post-match.

“I think that I’ve built up a bit of confidence in my body during the pre-season.  We’ve played a lot of practice games.

“For me, it’s all about performance now.  I’m probably coming from a long way back, so I just want to continue to play well, play my role, and hopefully I can stay in the side and play a few games this year . . .

“I’ll put my hand up as much as I can, whether it’s in the AFL team, or in the VFL team.  Good form selects yourself a position for the A team, so I’ll just keep playing as much football as I can, keep trying to improve, and hopefully it all works out for me.”

I l dont think he will repay our investment in him but that was very well said. Be nice to hear our former captain say that at some point.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Chris Knights, who impressed Hardwick in his comeback against the Dogs, missed the game against the Power with what the club described as a slight injury setback.
