how dumb can our club be recruiting this guy as part of their monkeyball theory. Evidence was there for all to see yet we chose to ignore it, much like foley's last contract.

move on and draft bennell. For once lets take a risk with a gun player with head issues that choco can fix, than blokes who cant even walk.

Pretty insensitive post, considering all he's been through. Club took a punt on a talented guy and missed out, I'll acknowledge that, but for gods sake, he's done another ACL!!!

Anyone who doesn't feel for this guy right now is an ass. The poor bugger.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Agree 100%

I hope if anything it inspires his team mates to take nothing for granted ever whilst they are footballers let alone this weekend.

his done another acl a few weeks after announcing his retirement. Whilst  unfortunate timing, he has been  paid a million bux over 3 years so he will be fine,  and is about to be retired.

my issue is not with him its with the club for wasting money on a known injury prone footballer.

move on

Actually the memory for me is being in Adelaide the day he dislocated his knee cap that led to the damaging ligaments that were compared to those of a car accident victim. Even the surgeons said it was a freak injury

But it's easier to bag him for being injury prone I suppose

Anyways, I wish him the best, a terrific bloke who was a great role model for our younger players (source = our younger players)

Club could do worse than to keep him on in some capacity. Maybe helping young players prepare themselves mentally and physically.

I agree - Id rather have him coaching our VFL team than the one we have at the moment
