No. 18: Shaun Grigg

After managing just 43 senior games with Carlton in four seasons, Grigg, seeking greater opportunities, was enticed to Richmond during the 2010 trade period, in exchange for Andrew Collins.

I thought Grigga would have been higher than this. Methinks his position in the order will be reevaluated if we play finals in the next year or two.

The Hogg for Broderick/Gale/Dundas trade is a standout for me and should be right up there.

Barry Rowlings and Woosha Welsh were good pick ups for us back in the day and Johnny Annear was the one decent player we got out of the whole Collingwood / Richmond 1980s trade debacle.

The RFC website is counting down the top 20 Tiger trades of all time.

No.20 is Ben Harrison

Played 74 games for us b/w 1996-2000. Came to us via a swap in late 1995 for Justin Murphy who went to Carlton.

I hope the next 19 are better.

good call

Here's a beauty

2002 draft we offload pick 28 for Justin Blumfield.

Essendon use 28 to get Tristan Cartledge.

Tristan Cartledge then comes to Richmond via selection 33 of the rookie draft in 2007 just to

give the deal from 2002 more creedence.

Paul Hudson for pick 49.

How about this gem from 2001 worked out okay in the end I guess.

We swap Nick Daffy and pick 17 for Greg Stafford. Pick 17 was on traded to Geelong for James Kelly a 3 times premiership player.

What is criminal is our first pick in the one real super draft we have had was at 33 and we selected David Rodan. :help

63 Adam Houlihan
68 Chris Hyde
77 Marty McGrath.

RFC we salute you. :cheers

Would have thought Paul Broderick would be number 1 myself

Agreed
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
