what about the dudes on Big Footy complaining before we drafted him that he is too vanilla? Whatever the fu stuff that means.

He's got something that all good AFL players have got and thats "time". Will be a good player for us for a long time.

actually, if he can keep showing something through the pre-season id be starting him with the view of subbing him off when he tires, and if someone else deserves to be subbed of he gets a full game.

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Youngster Nick Vlastuin shines for Richmond (Age)

Youngster shines for Richmond

Richmond has nine players from other AFL clubs on its books this year, but one addition who could also have an impact was picked up at the draft table. Nick Vlastuin is still only 18, but looked a very likely customer last night, ending with as many disposals as any teammate, nearly half of them contested. Captain of Vic Metro in last year's under-18 championships, Vlastuin has shown at junior level a liking for the harder stuff, and seems quite capable of carrying that over into the higher level.

Was very impressive, hard at it, clean and very good decision maker.
If this is what we can expect then it can only be a positive for our midfield rotations this year.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Just the type of player you will love in your side

Can't wait to see him in the big stuff

we made a mistake picking him first based purely on his toughness

we need skilled players

Hmmm......

In fairness, there is a certain element of risk in making comments on things you know little about.
