They were asking on SEN just before if Cotch will be stripped of his Brownlow to give it back to Watson  ::) based on today's Herald-Sun articles posted here: http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=17263.msg667826#msg667826.

Wimpley & Slobbo will probably lead the campaign.... :shh

This. All this sooking and making noise, its a non issue. Just because it wasn't listed on a website doesn't mean it wasn't illegal.

Can't wait to hear the bummers ham on about this for the next 50 years though.  :rollin

At the end of the day if you're going to inject something then you need to ensure it's legal.

Not see that it's absent from one of several lists and hope for the best due to negligence...

If the story is correct, and for sure it is being taken to court by lovett-murray and he wins, the repurcussions will be felt by all.

On face value if the dates are correct then theres every chance Cotchin and Mitchell will have to hand their Brownlows back.

The article couldn’t be any more stupid. They literally have the ASADA/WADA clause which says that it doesn’t matter whether something is not on the prohibited list it doesn’t allow you use it in the article and yet this is supposedly new evidence which contradicts the suspensions?

More like click bait article to generate some headlines in the off-season.

Clearly, you don't have any clue around the WADA/ASADA rules.

There is nothing to see here. Article is another desperate attempt by the gutter rag The HUN to solicit sympathy for the Bombers

Richard Ings former ASADA boss debunked it yesterday as did the ASADA boss of the time McDevett.

If Lovett-murray feels the need to sue, he should start with his former club.

I hope they take it to court and blow several million dollars more on a lost cause :)

On the back of their podcast chat, did the AFL make the right decision awarding Trent Cotchin and Sam Mitchell the 2012 Brownlow Medallists when they took it off Jobe Watson?

Absolutely they did.

Highest recognised anti-doping body on the planet found them guilty.

Dons supporters have to cut the 'beyond reasonable doubt' nonsense and realise it's 'to the satisfaction of a reasonable & objective person' like in a Civil matter.

Jobe was found guilty of being a drug cheat. Might rankle with some in the afl world but anywhere else in the world it is cut and dried.
For some reason, in Australia people can’t get their head around the fact there are Australian drug cheats in all types of sports and the AFL. Some are at the fault of the athlete, some are the way they are managed, some are both.
There might not be many but yes - it happens here as well.
In professional sport, the responsibility lies solely with the athlete and it is ultimately up to the athlete to take the appropriate level of care to protect themselves.
I feel sorry for Jobe but thems the facts. No Brownlow for you!
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

The same people didn’t shed a tear for Justin Charles who couldn’t play without drugs that allowed him to play and weren’t performance enhancing . I like Jobe and he may have been caught up in the wrong place but  them’s the rules .

I loved Justin Charles as a player. Have a signed jumper of his and frequented his pub in Willy many more times than I could count. Top bloke.

As for shedding a tear for him? Why should they. He took an anabolic steroid on every banned list known to man. Guilty and treated accordingly.

What I find astounding is that James Hird of all people was leader of the pack saying he should have a copped a tougher penalty.

I’ll find the newspaper clipping
