b/ morris - chaplin - grimes
hb/ dea - rance - vlaustin
c/ deledio - tuck - grigg/houli  last chance for one of them  to show some defensive qualities.reckon griggs run and spread at subi gets him the gig.
hf/ martin - riewoldt - edwards
f/ mcguane - griffiths - king/nahas reckon pace is needed over there so one of king nahas.
r/ stephenson - cotchin  - conca  wish foley was fit hed be a must.
int/ maric - helbig - ellis - newman/knights  newman is on thin ice.

ins/outs
stephenson for vickery a no brainer.
dea for houli geez some defensive accountability
vlastuin for petterd has to be played
helbig for jackson give helbig a run with role ffs.
griffiths for knights more a structural thing allowing us to play a real tall forward line and the spare ruckman.
nahas for king if hes injured.

5 changes  6 if king doesnt come up  wont happen.  would be definately 6  if foley was fit.

again its not so much about winning but playing people who may be able to take us to the next level down the track and getting games into them replacing blokes with clear and obvious weaknesses that bite us on the arse every yr.

Will have to see who only plays partial games for Coburg today. Wouldn't think there would be many changes since we're playing in Perth on Friday.

Out - In:

Morris - Vlastuin
McGuane - A.Edwards
King - Helbig
S.Edwards - Nahas
Vickery - Griffiths
Petterd - White

Team:

Newman, Chaplin, Grimes
Ellis, Rance, Vlastuin
Houli, Deledio, Conca
Knights, Reiwoldt, Martin
Nahas, Griffiths, A.Edwards
Maric, Cotchin, Tuck
I: Jackson, Helbig, Grigg
S: White

Houli is a genuine wingman! Don't play him down back!
Jackson and Helbig to play tagging roles in the midfield and forward!
Rance to play CHB and rebound out of fifty.
Chaplin and Grimes down in the last line of defence!
Enough hiding Griffiths YOU DONKEYS!!! Play him deep forward and kick it long to him and he will out mark anyone!!!

Vlastuin - Morris(susp)
Nahas - King(inj)
Batchelor - Petterd(2 dropped sitters and for a loose man didnt give us enough drive nor did he give Rance a chop out)
Helbig - Ellis(needs a full game)

would also seriously consider
Big O - Vickery but worried about carrying two out and out ruckmen on a big ground

Is  morris likely to find trouble with that bump? ::)

Which one? There was 2

The one on Swan he'll cop at least 3 weeks IMV it was bad really bad, the other on Elliott will probably get him another week

So he is an out

Alot put their hands up today to be dropped  ;D

INS: Vlaustin, The Big O (he'd be more competitive than Ty at this point)

OUTS: Morris, Vickery

I don't reckon he deserves a suspension on Swan, looked like he jumped to smother turned and Swan kept running into him. Free kick? Everyday of the week. Suspension? No. But it is the MRP.

Oh and Ellis was poor, I thought he was meant to be a good kick? I'm yet to see it.

I reckon one of petterd/ knights need to be dropped for Batch...im thinking Knights, his defensive game is non existent, who else kept wondering who the heck was on the magpie smalls that swarmed forward...if he s an outside mid, then he needs to hit the scoreboard, he passed a nice one to jack+ 2 points, not enough ...we need to bring in defenders for freo as they have dangerous forwards

I thought he kicked it well into the forward line on one occasion and hit a forward on the chest. It was a lovely pass.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Struth talk about over reacting to 1 loss  ;D

Out - In:

Morris - Vlastuin
McGuane - A.Edwards
King - Helbig
S.Edwards - Nahas
Vickery - Griffiths
Petterd - White

Shane Edwards has 1 poor game and you want him dropped. He's been on our best 5 every game bar this week

As for Griffiths he isn't being hidden away he's injured, that's why he didnt play for Coburg today

Yep that was to King early in the last but for me the kid seems to be off at the moment.
That dropped mark on the chest I cannot get our of my mind. It was poor.
The kid needs game time and he needs to go to Coburg whether it happens or not is up to the selection committee. I think he needs to go.

Other possible changes may or may not include.

Aaron Edwards kicked 7 today for Coburg he could be a straight swap for Knights next week.
Nahas for King is a no brainer.
Vlaustin for Morris will be forced.
Would like to see The Big O get a gig possibly for Vickery.
Lets see how many players we take across. When does Coburg play next week?
