Did you ask your Nought friend to take the Tom Waterhouse special on Nought.
If your team leads at 3/4 time and loses you get your money back.
Nought have done that at least 6 times this season. :lol :rollin :lol

Need to finish 5th!

I reckon we will finish 5th with Collingwood , Essendon and Port a game or two below us and they will all be around the 56pt mark .  Essendon are no good , as I've been tellin you guys so they may still finish 8th if they get well beaten by North , Carlton and us as I suspect they will. Otherwise we'll be playing Port at the G in the first final.

Here's the AFL website's ladder predictor:

http://www.afl.com.au/ladder/ladder-predictor

MATT WINDLEY'S PREDICTED LADDER:
1. Hawthorn 18-4
2. Geelong 18-4
3. Sydney 17-1-4
4. Fremantle 17-1-4
5. Richmond 16-6
6. Essendon 15-7
7. Collingwood 14-8
8. Port Adelaide 13-9
--------
9. North Melbourne 10-12
10. Carlton 10-12
11. Brisbane Lions 10-12
12. West Coast 9-13
13. Gold Coast 9-13
14. Adelaide 8-14
15. Western Bulldogs 7-15
16. St Kilda 3-19
17. Melbourne 2-20
18. Greater Western Sydney 1-21

7. RICHMOND
48pts 115.5%
R20: Brisbane Lions, MCG
R21: Carlton, MCG
R22: Greater Western Sydney, Skoda Stadium
R23: Essendon, MCG
Matt says: They said a run of matches against Fremantle, Sydney and Hawthorn would be season-defining - how true that turned out to be. Not only is Richmond now certain of playing in its first finals series since 2001, it will likely head in to September as one of the competition's form teams and a legitimate contender for the premiership. Anything's possible if the Tigers play like they did against the Hawks for the rest of the year. Damien Hardwick's men have the draw to be able to win their last four games on the trot, which would likely mean a fifth-placed finish awaits. That would be huge, as the reward for finishing fifth is likely to be a home final against Port Adelaide.

Pies winning tonight means we stay seventh below them on percentage :scream.

We're both now level on points with Essendon although the Bombers have a game in hand playing the Eagles tomorrow at Etihad.

If the Eagles play true to late-season form, OE, they will be seriously considering their position in the forthcoming draft.

"If this year ninth means eighth, I'm sure that club will take it" - Brenton Sanderson after Adelaide's win over North today.

So with 3 rounds remaining ive hit the ladder predictor and done a realistic assesment.
If we can concentrate on winning the next 3 games and not worry about other results we can finish 5th and ensure a home final. Lose one and we will finish 6 possibly 7th depending on whether we lose that to bombres or not.

Need to ensure we win convingcly too as pies percentage will increase and I believe they can knock over hawks and norf.

If Syd v Hawks round 23 goes the other way we end up in Fourth spot. (given all your other picks are correct)

 :cheers
