Yes NT  :clapping ;D

Also, FIFA is the biggest waste of money out there. Might as well keep your money and play an old version. Yawn fest.

Except for when you do Ultimate Team, online pro and comps  ;D :outtahere

It does seem like they rebadge the same game every year, but usually there are some pretty impressive tweaks and slider profile upgrades. They developed the engine years ago and just keep working on it. Games always recycle engines, you can't just build a new one every game. Often an engine will take twice as long to develop as a game. A trap that Naughty Dog and Rockstar admit they fell into with their recent games (The Last of Us and GTA5). They both said they should have just used their previous capable engines that they developed in house. This year from FIFA 13 to 14 on current gen it almost just is a copy-paste job, but it has been put on a new engine for next gen. More various and complex animations, physics and ball control. Goes orrite  :thumbsup

The CoDs are a different story but. Generally they're nothing more than an overpriced DLC that they're flogging off as a new game. I always made sure to grab a new Modern Warfare when it came out because I honestly don't think Infinity Ward do a bad job, but I'm not a big fan of Treyarch as a developer and the Blops games really show their lack of polish. Since I held out on Ghosts until PS4 (got a copy of Ghosts for PS4 sitting beside me atm though ;D) I'm yet to try it, but I'm currently optimistic since it's on a new engine, developed by Infinity Ward, and in glorious 1080p at 60fps. I hope Activision don't plan on keep pumping out CoD games every 12 months like they are with two different developers working on a different series each (takes about 2 years to develop each one).

EA made some comments last week trying to take a dig at Activision and CoD, by saying that Battlefield won't be an annual thing. Everyone was quick to remind them that they don't seem to have an issue putting out a new FIFA, Madden and NHL every year   :lol. Lots of fear at the moment online that since NBA Live 14 was such a flop that EA might just try and buy the NBA license, like they did NFL, since they can't seem to beat 2K fair and square. Fingers crossed 2K muscle in on the NFL when the agreement between EA and the NFL ends so we can finally have a decent football game.

No... I don't have anything in life besides video games  :lol :'(

I logged into PS website last night to make sure I remembered my password since it's saved on the console and never have to use it, and I saw you were playing Rugby Live 2  :lol how goes it?

EA wouldn't make enough return to sink any cash into a rugby or AFL game. Was reading an interview with the lead of their NHL team about why there will be no NHL 14 on PS4/XB1 and he said it's because the FIFA and Madden teams will be working out the kinks on the new systems. I interpreted that as EA don't want to spend the money on any other of their sports teams to learn the new stuff.

Have you upgraded to PS+ yet? I think you said you aren't getting a PS4 at launch, but I got my PS+ a few weeks ago so I was ready and there are some pretty cool free games you can already get for PS3 from the PS Store.

Mate was over so we were just playing random games and he goes "let's play this it should be a bit of fun" and we quit about half way through the game. Absolute dreadful game hahaha.
Yeah it's unfortunate that none of the good developers would make enough profit for AFL games.
Nah no ps4 on launch will wait a while before I do unfortunately.

Got home 15 mins ago. All set up and patching. Spewing have to get up and go to work in 6 hours. So no playing until tomorrow :( dualshock 4 feels like a boss though. Feels more solid, sticks more resistance, triggers curve out instead of in and the top of the sticks are concave. Always did prefer the 360 control but this certainly on par.

Apparently there are heaps of server issues at the moment. Well since launch. There have been patches since but people are still complaining. Haven't tried it myself yet, was going to get it on PC but will be too busy now.

Just coming up for air. PS4 is great. Loving the cross game chat like 360 had. Most of my mates are PS so we can now chat without being in the same game. The machine is fast, loading times minimal. Can even flick back to dashboard while a game is loading.

As for games. AC4 > GTA5. The sheer scale is even greater. I'm only on sequence 5, have been spending most of the time waging war at sea, destroying forts and finding treasures and getting 100% unlocks in towns. Still trying to upgrade my ship though since man-o-wars are smashing me :(

Fifa14 almost an entirely different game from fifa14 on ps3/360.

Cod ghosts really surprised me. Looks awesome and handles great. Didn't play for long because I wanted to get back to AC4.

Only downside at the moment is multiplayer. PS4 is rare esoecially in Aus at the moment so it's hard to find good local games. This will obviously pick up by new years when the second and third shipments arrive. We were playing fifa online clubs last night against some bloke in Egypt and the latency was negligible.

Still yet to stick in Killzone.
