The last time RIchmond had decent ruck was Ottens then maybe Stafford.
The club hasn't seen this area as in in need of attention since.
I'd go to even say that an elite ruckman is the most important player you could have in your team. This is because you then play with all 18 players contributing to the play. Poor ruckmen mean that you are one player down.

an alex rance for me
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

I think he is a spud of the highest order but he did actually start palming the ball our way in the last quarter which helped us get a few crucial clearances.
Still not enough in my eyes for a game but our ruck stocks are so incredibly thin that he'll probably get selected for that reason alone for Friday's game against the pies.
I just watch the last quarter again & I counted 1 lucky hitout to adv that resulted in a clearance early in the quarter and 1 tap to adv at a boundary throw in toward the end of the quarter. So possible 2 clearances from his tap work. Besides that he had a free kick 15 metres out and a strong mark in defence. Griffiths had a long stint in the ruck also in the last quarter.

I didn't say he dominated! ;D

Dimma said he was on top in the last. Suppose the coach saying that doesn't mean poo to some :snidegrin
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

"Rucks:
Shaun Hampson is the No.1 man"

Dumma says he's a good player as does Lade. Obviously Hartley thinks he's awesome also as does Robbo.

think you have to pay to get those stats
I hope not.
I just want to see the stats for myself because I don't believe it.

The consensus is that at the very least he is good tap ruckman due to his high percentage of taps to advantage. But from what I have observed I don't see many effective taps to his teammates, possibly effective to the opposition though.

If anyone can let me know where to find this mysterious hitouts to advantage stats I would greatly appreciate it.

AFL prospectus for 2016. Shows stats wise he's elite at HO and above average at HO/A.

Is this something I can look up weekly or must I buy the prospectus for just an overview?
