We need to give the whole coaching, recruiting and list management staff a pat on the back for the great work for holding their nerve, sticking to their guns and backing their own judgement on our rucks. Maybe they all need a 2 year contract extension for not bending when every man & it's dog on the planet thought we needed to recruit more rucks.

you nuffers, in the thrid qtr the hitouts to advantage were 6-1 in our favour, ruckwork wasnt the problem.

Maric is shot, will no doubt announce his retirement at seasons end or possibly even sooner, there was a reason he was playing VFL. Essentially we have no ruckman at the club capable of around the ground dominance in the air. Another area the recruiters seem to think everything is ship shape when blind Freddy can see it was and is something we urgently need to address.

Like it or lump it I think tonight clearly showed Hampson is easily the best ruck option we have atm.

We dont have a high quality ruckman it has been clear for years. I keep saying we only have two High quality kpps the rest are hampson like!!!! yet people think the priority shoud be mids again.

If your going to put aside Maric had a gazillion more hit outs to advantage than Hamspud had last week (ok let's humor ourselves and reality and do this for a moment), Maric actually had just 4 less disposals around the ground than Hampson had last week.
