I was going to post another video of his pathetic defensive effort but I think it's clear to everyone who isn't delusional that he's a spud

If he's given another contract then we're just not serious about being a professional club that's in the business of winning football matches....could easily have find a couple of better ruckmen in the state leagues for what he costs...

Sad thing is we probably have to give him a 1 year contract as insurance.
Unfortunately, he's the best spud we have in the ruck......

List management is so poor, it's beyond a joke. :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Did everyone see his handball attempt in the first quarter on the wing, when under minimal pressure he half connected with the side of the ball and it went between the  GWS and Richmond player

LMFAO

But apparently if you were "at the game" the imaginary outcome was quite different.

Actually saw that
Was poor
He wasn't the only one though
Players " jogging " down the ground behind play wasn't good
Upside of day , Pots were only $6.50 and the food on offer was great from the food vans

Fast reaching the lows of previous ruckmen at this club.

Stuff it here's the video anyway (hey mods, how come you don't make it possible to embed videos like you can images/gifs?)...
https://vid.me/lIxf

What this highlights is Hammers key flaws and why he should be upgraded on ASAP. First I'll acknowledge he got the tap (which was pretty ineffective)
First, he goes to ground while Mummy keeps his feet in a centre bounce
While Hampson stumbles to the ground like a baby giraffe and takes forever to find his feet again Mumford is able to apply a half tackle, get the ball and handball to a teammate
At this point Hampson is on the left side of the centre circle while play moves to the wing and he is no longer in the screen
Couple of scraggy hand balls and tackles until Mumford follows up from his handball and applies a shepherd on Lambert to allow Devon Smith a clear path to go forward with a handball
Good old Hammer back on the screen now and he's managed to walk to the middle of the centre circle (albeit more towards the wing but still in the centre square)
Ball is handballed to a player near him so he turns from a walk into a slow jog for 1 second and decides it's all too hard to get in a defensive position and returns to a walk
AND HE'S FINALLY MADE IT TO THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE CENTRE CIRCLE :clapping :clapping

Wow. If this guy had a footy brain and skill to excecute the basics of the game he'd be a good ruck.

He's just useless as a player. Does nothing (besides his touch on the goal line :clapping) and wins the taps but more go to either the opposition or no one than our players. Does he even know where he's supposed to tap the footy?

The club that keeps giving.

His around the ground efforts were non existent tonight

The taps mean nothing when he wont make any effort to anything else.

Really, so the marks in defense, bringing the ball to the ground in the forward line :snidegrin and touching the ball on the goal line to save that goal shows "no effort to do anything else".. :huh :huh

And don't forget Jacks mark and goal in the 3rd quarter , perfect body positioning by Hammer to allow Jack a free run at ball
Jack was very appreciative running up to Hammer as he ran back for Centre bounce
