We do, its just that "touches on the line" and "positioning" are footy 101 and, the last bastion of praise of rucks who cant kick, tap in the right direction or even connect a handball.

If you actaully took time to read my other posts you will know that i actually gave him credit for that

Perhaps rather than defending him constantly you should try and take rose coloured hampson labelled glasses off and actually give him a few very warranted whacks for his lack of effort at contests.

You know when he taps it to the ground and just watches the game from that moment on. Thatsi s unacceptable

took a couple of  good defensive marks and made sure the ball came to ground in the forward line too ( even though he should have held a couple of those)

The reality is that is the barest of minimum you expect from a ruckman if he is going to take you where you want to go, not the sort of game that deserves praise lavished on him

Likewise, go back a page and read what I posted. Additionally I will say this one final time. Hampson is not the way forward but what or who else do we have?? He is doing a good job under the circumstances and watch the game again from last night, he did some very good things. Griff as his backup was completely useless and more useless around the ground. Until we recruit another 1-2 ruckmen Hampson is it. But start looking at what he does do instead of looking for fault all the time.
