Unfortunately re-signing Hampson was an absolute necessity.

Until we acquire or develop a better one he's far and away the best on our list... Sad day...

and while they continue to employ him, two years at a time, they will not explore any other prospects.... Because, Ruckmen aren't important at the RFC. They have blokes like Ellis and  Clogger, controlling the ball once it drops.
