We need 2 ruckman, ideally 1 as a chop out for the Nank. The options are Soldo, Griff and Spud.

Upgrade Moore or Chol.

fixed.

The Tigers are hopeful ruckman Shaun Hampson can still play a part in 2018 despite ongoing troubles with his back.

Hampson was restricted to six VFL games in 2017 because of a chronic disc problem, which has continued into this year.

He played in the Tigers' opening round VFL win over Port Melbourne in early April but hasn't managed another game since.

He trained with the rehab group last week after being recently backed off load-wise, and still hopes to be part of the Tigers' campaign at some stage this season despite the tricky nature of his injury.

"I'm not sure when we're expecting him to play. It's a pretty serious kind of problem," Balme said.

"He's still around the place, still part of it, and we're hoping he can play."

Smart fellow really.

Able to get paid the $$$$$ for not doing much at all. Just say he has an acute pain in his back (that they can’t determine) and get paid the bigs bucks to get all the physio and massages he likes any time he likes and he doesn’t have to run or even try to mark or kick a footy.

The training with Megan has aggravated his back problems....  :shh

Scrubbing floors because she’s the bread winner?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

They don't even bother giving a time line in the injury update.
