People need to stop panicking that we're going to "run Nank into the ground".... total overraction based on what happened to Maric ...Nankervis is still only 23, Maric was already 26 when he got here....

I am not just concerned Nank burning out. His ruck work has been very average lately. The stats don't lie buddy take your head out of the sand. We can't hide away from it forever. Nank is a forward ruck playing first ruck. Against good ruckmen we get smashed in the centre.

His ruckwork has always been average - its the rest of his game that benefits us. Hitouts are over rated, and for the record, we're one of the best centre clearance sides in the comp

Against the best hit out ruckman in the league max Gawn we got smashed in hit outs something like 60-20 and won the clearances......

No more overrated stat in footy than hit outs. As for our clearance work, Prestia will help significantly with that.

That's why Soldo should be getting some games cause against the teams with 2 rucks Nank needs help and we struggle.Soldo is pretty good tap ruckman and has a good leap.Nank plays forward and Soldo rucks worked alright last season.

Hit outs are defeinitely overrated. But against teams with strong ruckmen i.e. West Coast with using Natanui and Lycett to overrun Nank, Port with Ryder, just trying to shark everything makes it an uphill battle. Particularly against Port we only won 5 centre clearances. (Trent with 3, Miles with 1, Grigg with 1)

It didn't help we didn't have Dusty and also I do agree that Prestia will add a lot to that midfield mix as well but saying that it would be negligent to not try and get game time and prep another ruckman ASAP if *knock wood* Nank gets injured/suspended

I don't think hit outs are as overrated as people say.

I certainly agree that they are not the be all and end all, but imagine if we had a Nic Nat, Gawn, Ryder style ruckman in our team at the moment palming it down to Dusty, Cotch, Prestia and co.

When your hit outs usually go straight down the throats of the opposition then I would suggest that they are extremely overrated.....

Last year Sandi had a record number of hitouts to advantage think it was 21 - we won by 104points - over rated..
