Although I understand your point Angus, I reckon our mids need to be a bit smarter with how they set up at times. By now they should have some sort of clue as to how this bloke taps the ball. they way they set up at times you'd think it's the very first time they've worked together

I understand that people can't help looking back but I'm afraid it doesn't help matters.
We need to plan properly for the future.  That starts with selection against Melbourne.  Miles must come in and so too Griff.

These days with limited interchange a ruckman needs to be able to fulfill an around the ground role in order to take some of the load off other players. Hampson simply doesn't offer this so is pretty much a liability should there be a period of open play where no ruck contests are required. This is why Maric has been Yessuch a huge loss for the start of the season.

Overall I thought he was a reasonable contributor yesterday. Neither good nor bad, just mediochre.

His marking is a concern which rules him out playing forward when Ivvy returns to full match fitness (assuming he does..).
If that eventuates it's back to the twos for Shaun with Maric sharing the duties with Griff/Vickery.

The problem with Hampson is no motivation to win. When we lose he ends up going home and being consoled by supreme hotness.
We need to replace Megan with a fish wife STAT!! If we can pull this off, his only joy will come from winning footy games and having celebratory drinks with the lads.
