Why would we guarantee him game time?

Its not unrealistic we play one ruck and maric remains first choice

I think I know Ladey a bit better than you do. And yes I think he would be a good coach but I haven't played under him.

No, that's not bagging the club. That is asking a question. Malthouse is one of the best coaches in the games history, why leave his club if you are in search of good coaching?

How would I know that you know him better than me. You can say anything on a forum. Whether it is believed or not is all dependent on either how well you pitch it or how gullible the person is who is reading it.

And you are twisting things again Coach. I did not say that Hampson came to Richmond for better coaching. Remember I don't know him and I don't know the reasons why he came other than what has been publicly reported. Nice try Jana.

Some putrid things being posted here. Disgusting. Agree with the Tones to be honest. I love how Hampson is a good player now that we have recruited him. If he was at Carlton he'd be a 'spud' or a dud.

Laughable. McEvoy is a bloody good player. Watch him next year in a good side getting a quality chop out from Hale.
McEvoy is crap in the actual ruck contests, pretty good around the ground. Hampson is crap everywhere but the ruck. Hopefully we can develop Hampson's around the ground work better than Hawthorn develop Big Boy's ruckwork.

There's no need to get personal. If you want to know who I am then send 65 a PM, he seems to think he knows. Don't question my honesty.

I asked why he was coming to Richmond if he was after quality coaching. Probably worded it poorly, should have said "why is he leaving Carlton if he is after good coaching". You responded with"because Lade is a quality coach" as if you had either been coached by him or had been told this by Hampson. Again, don't get personal. Makes you look weak and pathetic.

Regards
Coach

Laughing at you lot trying still trying to justify mcevoy over hampson

Makes our decision even more stuffed up

Stripes you got no idea mate if you think mcevoy is worth a second rounder.

Savage is like Titch worth nothing really so it's 17th pick most likely

22 for Mcevoy

Or

32 for Angus Hampson

We have really stuffed this one up

You can crap on Shane Edwards doesn't not exist buts who's going to replace him?

Tucks gone. Newman and king are on last legs. Its not like we have a plethora of guns to fill the void.

Savage would make our 22...

No white or nahas either

Love this thread.  So Positive

Even those that are negative are very positive about how bad this was.

Why is that even when the team has improved each year in the last 4 that people cants see the light? Its there guys, look harder. Trust those that have bought us up to keep us heading that way. We were only a crap goal umpire decision from top 3 last year. Look for the postives guys and trust that they know better than us "keyboard warriors", so far they have shown they do.

Fluffy open your eyes

We got embarrassed in a first final to the blues

Until we take those insipid performances out of our clubs psyche we won't be getting a flag soon

6-10th spot yep for sure not much else

Gerks ur a funny man

Until 2 days ago who would've thought hawks had a chance now look at them and look at us

We pulled the trigger early for what reason I have no idea

Perhaps people trying to justify their jobs

Dumb decision

Looks like there were 4 ruckmen up for grabs this trade period

Mumford, Big Boi, Hampson, Longer

Mumford, $1.8 Million 3yr contract, likely pick 1 in PSD

Big Boi, $1.3 Million 3yr contract, First round pick + Buddy Compo first round pick + young mid

Hampson, $750k 3yr contract, Second round pick

Longer.... ??? Brisbane want a first rounder

So, pull my finger  :nopity

You are incorrect as cot chin is almost 6'1

yep 185cms, a whole 2 cms bigger than the 183cm midgets.  :whistle
Dwarfs>midgets?

6'1 is indeed less of a risk 5'11

I see your panties are in a twist. If u reread the thread you will find I didn't raise this concept.

If u have two players of equal ability; 190 and 180. You beleive recruites and list managers would prefer the smaller?

Really? This whole ridiculous discussion started with this doozy

183cm for a mid is not a midget

It is. When the norm is 6'3 mids

say that again
