He made up his mind during the year to leave & move back closer to his family. Wouldn't surprise me a bit, If he plays some great football up there being in his comfort zone. sometimes wonder why he stayed so long.

I think his one glowing contribution was that tackle in round 1 to seal the win  :clapping

Back to the topic...

I think Luke made a wise call.

With AEdwards and Mc Bean pressing, his gametime as a fwd was limited.  Though he did add athleticsm and defensive pressure as the 3rd tall fwd.

Agree, I think the side is condensing a bit more now with Tuck going allowing opportunity for a trade hopeful or a current player to fill that role. White going allows another opening for a current player and with McGuane gone, as you have stated, McBean will come though with Edwards filly the interim role. This will give us the chance to play others as the sub...opens up the door a little more with these 3 gone and at no great loss.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

This is where it gets tricky tigers, keeping depth players!
All the best to Luke and whitey would of been a loss 2 years ago, not now although they would of been handy in reserve.....

Ill actually miss him. He provided good depth and great forward 50 pressure, he could also take a ripper mark and kick goals as well. Never really played 4 quarters, but good depth.

how did mcguanne stop elton and griff from performing at coburg? neither of their output at coburg could match mcguannes for richmond.
bean would have earned a game but he broke

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Griffs progress was stifled because
1.he couldn't get near the pill
2.he spent too much time in the medical room
