Yeah, this Lennon saga has FAILURE RFC written all over it IMO. If we lose him, we could be sitting here in 10 year going WTF happened and Hardwick and the crew would be long gone by then. Very hard this one.

The media are just speculating. Jon Ralph admitted the Club wouldn't want to lose Lennon and there's a long way to go and anything still could happen by the time the trade period arrives. Does Lennon feel the Club doesn't have confidence in him as a first round draft pick after dropping him for the final and he wants to go to another club that will show that confidence? Does he want $300k when the Club is offering $180k-200k? Is Carlton wanting Lennon in exchange for Yarran?

KB, by the way, said no way would you trade Lennon for Yarran. He's not a fan of Yarran.

Is Lennon Geez? No. But he is the only person who has the potential to fill in for Lids in that dynamic half forward, rotate through the middle type of role. Our team lacks firepower going forward and I feel personally we require way too many possessions in a scoring chain just to put points on the board.

Losing Lennon will make the forward line less flexible and we'd be left with praying Gordon or Sam Lloyd miraculously transform into Gary Ablett Sr in the pre-season which is never going to happen.

I feel our back 6 is up to scratch, our midfield is lacking a few elite players but still works quite well. Our forward line is where we are weakest (and the ruck of course but we can debate that in another thread).

If you want stats to back it up - Richmond conceded less goals than any other club this year.

Don't think not making the top 4 and losing the final was solely because of the back six

It was a "team" effort.

The list as to why we lost the final is a mile long and starts at the top with the leaders, not the back 6

I blame the Coach ( for his idiotic selection of Conca and Griffiths ) The Captain , the vice Captain and the entire midfield ( except Miles) for losing that final.

The backline could only hang on for so long before the dam wall burst.

I would trade Griffiths before Lennon.

49 games in 6 years . Injury prone.

Has a reputation of being a really beautiful kick - but misses some really easy shots from 30 -35 out that become momentum killers. ( Melbourne game , Freo game in Perth - could of kicked the sealer , Freo game at MCG , Elimination final - off the top of my head) 12.15 this year.

Latest rumour is Lennon doesn't want to go to Carlton.
