They should have waited until next year for the grand revival match, the first afl game played since 1964, to have it with a capacity crowd of 20,000 or what ever it will hold when it's all finished.

This is one big balls up as far as I'm concerned, especially when it comes to supporters wanting to see football at their beloved home ground.
Surely no idiot would intentionally schedule a game like this, with this much history behind it, without having the supporters in mind.
It's a practice match. They play them at country grounds all over Australia and many of them don't have much more capacity than PRO will have that day. And I repeat, it's a practice match, a training drill if you like.

Anyhow, it was more about the fact that Lids and the rest of the boys were excited and proud to play a match on Punt rd Oval. Which is what he was saying on triple m the other day.
